Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It covers the ekotaxi.bg website, bookings by phone and email, and rides in our cars. This is a translation; if it differs from the Bulgarian version, the Bulgarian version prevails.
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we collect
2.1. When you request a transfer on the website:
- name, email and phone number;
- where you are travelling from and to, date and time;
- number of passengers and suitcases;
- flight number;
- any extra information you write yourself.
2.2. When you write to us through the contact, advertising or driver application forms: your name or company, email, phone number and your message.
2.3. When you book by phone: your phone number and pickup address. Calls with the dispatcher are recorded. We do this to monitor the quality of our service and to check what was booked if there is a dispute.
2.4. When you pay by card: card details are processed by the bank and the payment provider, through the card terminal or the app. We do not see or store them.
2.5. Mobile app: the 6155 Eko Taxi app runs on the IQ Taxi platform. When you book through it, data such as your pickup location, ride history and payment method is processed. IQ Taxi processes it as the platform provider. Details are in the privacy policy inside the app.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising and we do not send you newsletters without your consent.
4. Who else sees the data
Only the people who carry out your booking see your data: the dispatcher and the driver. Beyond them, only:
- our hosting provider for the website and email (SuperHosting.BG Ltd., servers in the EU). Emails from the website forms are sent through our own mail server;
- IQ Taxi, the provider of the mobile app platform, for bookings made in the app;
- our accountant, for payment documents;
- public authorities, when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
- Requests sent through the website forms: deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Recordings of calls with the dispatcher: kept no longer than needed for the purposes in 2.3.
- Accounting documents (invoices, receipts): 10 years, as required by the Bulgarian Accountancy Act.
- Data related to a complaint or dispute: until the case is closed and the limitation period has passed.
6. Cookies
The website uses only one cookie, pll_language, which remembers your chosen language (Bulgarian or English). It is needed for the site to work. It does not track your visits or identify you.
The website does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any other advertising or tracking cookies. If we ever add them, we will ask for your consent first.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- ask us to delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- restrict or object to its processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where you have given it.
Write to office@ekotaxi.bg. We reply within 1 month.
If you believe we are breaching your rights, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection: 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, cpdp.bg.
8. Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only staff who need access to requests for their work can see them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on ekotaxi.bg.
